While having lunch one day at Blennies, the Buddy Dive restaurant, we met a young lady who is a professional mermaid. We struck up a conversation and when she found out I did underwater photography, there was a mutual interest in doing a photo shoot. She needed PR photos and I thought it would be a new challenge to capture images of a mermaid instead of just fish. As it turns out, shooting humans (or semi-humans in this case) underwater is much different than shooting fish and other marine critters. It was a great learning experience for me and it was a pleasure working with my mermaid model, Elizabeth Bevins.

David was there to document the shoot and also got in on the modeling action. Elizabeth convinced him to be in a couple of the photos – which turned out great!!!
