Driving around completing errands today, we passed a field of geese in the snow. While it has been quite cold during our Chicago area visit, there is no disputing that some parts of winter are quite beautiful and even joyful to experience in real life. That said, we can’t wait to get back to warm weather and (more importantly) salt water.
