POTW-2021-06-4

David and I had an amazing “frogfish” week where we saw six different frogfish across two different dive sites in Bonaire. We saw one of the frogfish at “The Lake” and our dive guide Jolanda from Beyond the Corals found five frogfish at Salt Pier. While at Salt Pier, I stayed with this little guy for a bit longer than the the other frogfish and it paid off. While I was observing him he decided to move to another location, and he jumped off his sponges. I was able to capture this image after the jump while he was floating down to his new location.

Equipment and settings: Nikon D850 / 60mm / INON z330 strobes / f14 / 1/200th / ISO 200.
Location: Salt Pier, Bonaire
