Leslie and I have transitioned to Curaçao, but it hasn’t been without a few issues. Some of our luggage didn’t make the small prop plane we took over, so they were put on later flights. Everything was collected the next day. Navigating has been a bit challenging as the road system appears have evolved rather than have any planning behind it. Thank the maker for GPS! It is not infrequent for us to make six to eight turns and travel on roads for no more than half a mile to get some nearby location that is only 2 miles away!
The latest challenge included three separate island-wide power outages that, collectively, left the island without electricity for about 40 hours. That certainly put a damper on processing video/photos and posting in a timely manner. Those issues seem to be behind us now, so we are settling in. Albeit a bit late, the latest installment of The Shore Diving Collection which covers Arashi Beach on Aruba has been posted. It is a terrific site with lots of turtles, rays and octopus.
We have one more site (Santo Largo) on Aruba left, but we are so excited about Tugboat Beach on Curaçao, that we are targeting that next, so stay tuned! For now, please enjoy Arashi Beach.
